Abstract

T For a long time, skin lesions have been the most common type of injuries as a result of accidents, in the practice of sports, heavy work, etc. Since our main outer defense barrier of our body is the skin and as a result of the high frequency of suffering this type of injuries is very high. That is why decisions regarding the clinical approach of a person with a type of white tissue injury can generate uncertainty professionals because of it, the depth of the lesion and the choice of appropriate treatment. Therefore, in appropriate care should be taken into account the following pr that will help us accelerate the healing of the injury and the good prognosis of it, these principles are; identify the type of injury, perform gentile maneuvers on the lesion, minimize the number of washes of the lesion, observe daily the evolution of the lesion and avoid contact between the lesion and the bed. In addition to these principles, the use of a suitable dressing on the lesion is very important since this will lead to a regeneration and epithelization of the tissues, from simple and acute wounds to serious and chronic wounds. All this with the purpose of the early improvement and the decrease of the stay of the patient in the hospital and the risk of contracting some nosocomial disease.
