Abstract

The municipalities of Chiquimula, Quezaltepeque and Esquipulas, are established as public law institutions that are intended to exercise government functions and manage the interests of the municipality, where labor dissatisfaction was detected by administrative collaborators, directly impacting the attention to the users of the different offices, which is influenced by aspects that integrate the organizational climate, such as, the infrastructure, the structural characteristics, the social environment, the personal characteristics and organizational behavior. The study allowed to establish the deficiencies that the municipalities have in terms of their organizational climate, establishing the relationship that has with the job satisfaction of the administrative collaborators according to different aspects. As research techniques we used: observation, interview and survey; performing a descriptive and inferential analysis of correlation type, using the SPSS program (version 15.0); in order to determine if the “organizational climate” influences job satisfaction. Taking as a reference that at a significance level of 0.01, the research hypothesis is “Accepted” “A better  organizational climate, greater job satisfaction in the administrative collaborators of the municipalities of Chiquimula, Quezaltepeque and Esquipulas”, being the bilateral significance of correlation (.000) lower than the applied alpha (0.01); obtaining a degree of correlation of 0.814 “positive high”.
